Each icon is painted by hand in accordance with the Orthodox canonical tradition. A finished icon can become a prayerful adornment for a home icon corner, chapel, parish, monastery, or a meaningful gift for a loved one.

It is important to note that these icons are not printed reproductions or silkscreen images. They are genuine hand-painted Orthodox icons created in Mstyora using traditional materials: a seasoned linden wood board, oak splines, natural gesso, egg tempera, and, where indicated in the product card, 23K gold leaf.

Can I choose a kiot for an icon in stock?
Yes. Many finished icons have standard sizes, such as 17×21 cm, 27×31 cm, or other formats shown in the product card. A suitable wooden kiot with glass can be discussed individually to protect the icon from dust and give it a more solemn appearance.
Are the icons blessed before shipping?
Icons may be blessed in an Orthodox church before shipping if this is requested. If a particular icon has not yet been blessed, this can be discussed before the order is sent.
What should I do if the icon I need is not in stock?
The collection of ready icons changes regularly because each icon is painted as an individual work. If you do not see the saint, feast, or iconographic type you need, you can order a custom hand-painted Orthodox icon.
